The bankrupt grocery chain, which is liquidating its assets, filed an adversary complaint against Millwood Merchant, LLC, a company owned by Jamie Luna, last week, according to this Daily Voice report, suing the buyer in the $2.4 million.
A&P argues that failing to close on the sale constitutes a breach of contract, the Daily Voice report said.
Shanghai Enterprises, which successfully bid $928,000 for the Hastings-on-Hudson store, also informed A& it does not intend to close on the deal, lohud.com said. Read the lohud story here.
