ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Now is the time for non-profits and agencies who offer services to children and young people to submit bids for funding through Rockland's Youth Development Program, said County Executive Ed Day.
The funding is used to promote positive youth development, increase youth developmental assets and decrease juvenile delinquency.
To apply, agencies must submit their proposals/concept papers through email by 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
Non-profit and municipal agencies can only apply for programs that provide direct services to young people 0-21 years of age.
A decision will be made on each proposal by Nov. 3, at which time approved proposals will need to submit additional information.
To request instructions contact Gabriella Marano at (845) 638-5378 or by email at Maranog@co.rockland.ny.us .
The Rockland County Youth Bureau is committed to its continued advocacy on behalf of the children, youth, and families of Rockland County, Day said.
