ArchCare's New Mobile Health Center Heads To Rhinebeck

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- A new Archdiocese of New York-sponsored mobile health center that offers a wide array of health services to agricultural workers, the frail, elderly and other underserved groups across the Hudson Valley is making a stop in Rhinebeck on Saturday as part of a free community health fair.

From 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, the mobile unit will be open for free health screenings, tours and educational programs. It is part of a free Community Wellness Fair at ArchCare at Ferncliff, 21 Ferncliff Drive, Rhinebeck.

The mobile center provides services regardless of a patient's ability to pay, officials said. It is staffed by Hudson Valley-based HRHCare health system.

Mobile health team members are planning to give tours of the center, as well as provide free health screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose measurements.
