The fair will feature rides, entertainment, vendors, and old-fashioned games, such as egg and spoon relays and potato sack races, with participants competing against local officials, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and their families.
The fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will take place from Prospect Street to Stop & Shop.
Fair highlights:
- Games, 1 to 3 p.m., on the grass in front of Normandy Village.
- Live remote broadcast on WRCR 1700AM, noon to 2 p.m., with radio hosts and personalities, of WRCR morning show, Steve Posell and Jordan Baker, and the DJ known as Bulldog and his crew from the "Rude Awakening Morning Show" that airs in Ocean City, Md., on Ocean 98.1
- Nearly 200 vendors of all kinds, local businesses, as well as craft vendors from across the tristate area.
- Refreshment tent is sponsored by Ambulance Brew House located on Main Street in Nanuet.
Performance schedule:
10 a.m., Prospect St., opening flag ceremony with Nanuet Boy Scout Troop 78; followed by National Anthem, by Nanuet High School student Emily Cohen; "God Bless America," by Nanuet High School Student Samantha Frieri
1-:15 a.m., family games, 10:15 a.m., winners announced at 10:45 a.m.
11:30 a.m., Rockland Conservatory
12:15 p.m., opera singer Anna Veleva
1:15 p.m., Dance Central Performing Arts students
2:30 p.m., "Midnight Dawn"
3 p.m., Coupé Theatre Studio students
3:10 p.m., Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann will address the fair goers at 3:10 p.m.
3:30 p.m., ice cream social, acapella group
The Alchemy band will close out the day At Market St.
