Nyack Hospital Support Group Discusses Surgical Menopause

NYACK, N.Y. -- Nyack Hospital will host a meeting for FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, a support group for those with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer on Thursday, Feb. 25.

Dr. Gizelka David-West, OB/GYN, will discuss surgical menopause, hysterectomy, oophorectomy, how to prepare, what to expect and how to cope.

The group will meet from 6:30-8 p.m. in the McCormack Conference Room, first floor of the Union State Bank Cancer Center at the hospital.

The meeting is free, but registration is requested by emailing janetg@facingourrisk.org.
