Winter's Wildlife Detectives Come To West Nyack Free Library

WEST NYACK, N.Y. – Children are invited to learn about the winter habits of animals with Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension Monday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. in the Children’s Room at the West Nyack Free Library.

Where do animals go when the ground is covered with snow? What do they eat? How do they stay warm? Children in kindergarten through fourth-grade will investigate the winter habits and survival methods of neighborhood woodland animals. The visit includes stories, displays and games.
