Texas de Brazil Churrascaria, a Brazilian Steakhouse with locations across the country including in Yonkers, is open for business.

A blend of Brazilian culture and Texas hospitality, the restaurant offers a plethora of flame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage that is slow-roasted and carved table-side for guests.

“The people of West Nyack and surrounding areas have been extremely welcoming to us since our opening, and our location in Palisades Center has kept us very busy,” said General Manager Brian Bolick.

An official grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Rockland Business Association is planned for Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. But there's no need to wait until then--the restaurant is open now.

“Our guests really love the unique experience of dining at Texas de Brazil, with our warm Texas hospitality, abundant gourmet salad area and delicious meats grilled and served churrasco-style by our friendly gauchos,” Bolick said.

The restaurant features an open-view grill in the dining area, a wine wall, and bar/lounge area in 7,500 square feet, and a variety of additional menu options including a vast salad section, imported cheeses, Brazilian cocktails, and a-la-carte dessert selections.

Texas de Brazil in West Nyack is open for dinner nightly. A regular dinner that includes the meat service is $44.99 per person while a salad area only dinner is $24.99 per person. Children 6 to 12 can eat for half price, 3 to 5 for $5, and under 2 years old are complimentary.

The restaurant is located on the first floor of the mall near the Cheesecake Factory.
