VALLEY COTTAGE, N.Y. – Happy Birthday to Valley Cottage’s Audrey Landers.

The actress and singer turns 60 on Monday.

Landers was born on July 18, 1956.

Landers, who is best known for her turn as Afton Cooper on the drama series “Dallas,” grew up in the Clarkstown hamlet of Valley Cottage.

Landers also played Val Clarke in the film version of “A Chorus Line.”

Born Audrey Hamburg in Philadelphia, she took to music at an early age, winning a Nashville recording contract, studying at the Juilliard School, and eventually releasing more than a dozen albums.

She appeared in several daytime television series and had guest appearances on shows such as “The Dukes of Hazzard” and “Love Boat.”

Landers married businessman Donald Berkowitz in 1988. The couple have two sons.
