New City's Burger Loft Vies For Fry Win In DVlicious Contest

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- -- No burger or sandwich is complete without an order of fries. Whether you like them shoestring skinny, crispy and crinkled or golden brown and fried to perfection, they remain one of America's favorite sides.

The Burger Loft leaves the skin on its thin-cut spuds, which gives its fries flavor and is a good source of fiber and vitamins B6 and C.

Fry Type: Fresh cut in-house, Idaho potatoes are double fried, which makes them extra crispy.

What Makes Them So Addictive: The Loft keeps the skins on their spuds, which is a good source of fiber and vitamins. They go good with burgers which are pressed flat on the grill to keep them crunchy on the outside and moist in the middle. But it's the dip that makes the difference, the restaurant says. It offers a slew of 'em from truffle-aioli to roasted garlic and lemon to horseradish dijon and spicy sriacha.
