NYACK, N.Y. -- Just hours after the attacks in Orlando the Rockland County Pride celebration in Nyack featured extra security and an air of solidarity, according to lohud.com.
The parade has taken place in Nyack since 1999 and draws attendees from surrounding communities. The traditional message of inclusiveness had increased relevance this year following the tragic events at Pulse Nightclub, according to lohud.com.
The sun was out for the pride celebration this past Sunday, June 12, and featured performers, vendors, informational booths, food and drinks, according to lohud.com.
