Rockland United Latin Festival Brings Food, Music, Fun To Haverstraw

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. – Fifteen-year-old Greicy Crisostomo was named the Dominican queen of the sixth annual United Latin Festival on Sunday, according to lohud.com.

The event began with a parade about noon, bringing the party from Emeline Park to Haverstraw Middle School, according to lohud.com, which reported that the festival featured food, vendors and Latin music.

The event ended with a performance from popular Cuban artists SonSublime, according to lohud.com, which reported that the day drew kids and adults to celebrate the cultures of the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Ecuador, Cuba, El Salvador and Columbia.
