The popular show Rockland-based show, which features Steve Possell and co-hosted by newsreader Patrick Flood, runs from 6 to 10 a.m., can also be heard in parts of Putnam and Westchester counties.
“My partners and I heard the community’s pleas and we concluded the best way to serve both of our markets was to return ‘The Morning Show’ back to AM 1700,” said Dr. Alexander Medakovich, president of Alexander Broadcasting, Inc.
The show, which was moved exclusively to the web in November, will still be available via the internet from WRCR.com and mobile apps.
Locally originated programming outside of the morning drive time will continue to be available via the internet and mobile apps exclusively. During that time outside of morning drive, Indian-language programming will be featured on AM 1700, Medakovich said.
“We appreciate the community’s patience with us during this time of transition. We thank them for continuing to support the station and our advertisers as we work as hard as we can to deliver the local talk, news, weather, traffic and interviews with local newsmakers and community leaders as no one else can,” Medakovich added.
