Girls’ Night Out, hosted by The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, will be held on Oct. 19 at the Crowne Plaza in Suffern. The evening serves an important fundraising purpose: all proceeds raised will benefit The Center for Breast Health at Good Samaritan Hospital. The Center provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art cancer care, from screenings to survivor services.

The evening will include dinner, a high-end shopping experience, mini makeovers, a silent auction, raffles and more. Dr. Karen Karsif, medical director of The Center for Breast Health, and comedian Robin Fox will share the spotlight.

"We’re trying not to just cure the disease, but to also emphasize survivorship and allow our patients to live a quality life," said Karsif. She will lead a learning session on breast health, while Robin Fox will feature a style of comedy which many women can relate to.

“October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is an ideal time for our community to come together to support local access to state-of-the-art healthcare,” said Karsif. “Breast health is every woman’s concern. The more we all know about breast disease, the better prepared we are to achieve optimal health.”

The event will be held on October 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Suffern. Tickets are $75.

Reservations for Girls’ Night Out are required, and sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information or to register, click here or call (845)-368-5151.
