'America's Got Talent' Suffern Star Grace VenderWaal Sings In Rockland

POMONA, N.Y. -- "America's Got Talent" singer Grace VenderWaal officially launched the Ramapo Recreation Department's sixth annual Summer Concert Series on Friday night.

A 12-year-old ukulele player gets the golden buzzer when she takes a risk and performs an original tune, "I Don't Know My Name."

Grace, who lives in Suffern, was booked at the last minute to bring her songs and ukulele to Rockland in support of Granger Smith featuring Earl Dibbles, Jr. and William Michael Morgan, according to lohud.com.

As previously reported by Daily Voice, "America's Got Talent" judge Simon Cowell dubbed Grace "the next Taylor Swift" following a performance of her original song "I Don't Know My Name" on the talent show. 

Grace performed six songs alongside guitarist Dylan Kay at the Boulders' baseball stadium before a crowd of more than 1,000 people, lohud.com reported.
