All proceeds for the event will be used to fund life scout Carrington Gregori's upcoming Eagle project, which honors the 225th anniversary of Clarkstown by creating an exhibit space for local artifacts within the community.

The Color Run is a fun event for all ages. Participants come dressed in all-white clothing, usually an old white t-shirt or any other white clothing available. By the end of the race, all the white clothing will be tie-dyed.

Participants will be sprayed down with water prior to the race and will then run along the baseball and soccer fields while eco-friendly, safe, colored powder is thrown at the participants. Participants get to keep their multi-colored t-shirts as a souvenir.

A donation of $10 will go toward Gregori’s Eagle Project, which involves the research and collection of historical artifacts from the town’s rich history. Specially designed free standing, wall-mounted display cases will then be constructed to showcase artifacts, along with their descriptions, in Clarkstown’s Town Hall. Gregori is a life scout from Troop 97, New City.

A rain date will take place Saturday, July 23 in case of inclement weather.

Zukor Park is located at 19 Zukor Road, New City.
