Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter Hires Communication Manager

NORTHWEST DUTCHESS, N.Y. -- It's takes a special person and talent to work with people who have Alzheimer's disease and even more talent to help get the message out to the public about the disease.

Dugan Radwin has joined the Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley as their new communications manager.

That's why the Alzheimer’s Association’s Hudson Valley chapter said they are thrilled to have Dugan Radwin join the organization as its new communications manager, who will oversee publicity and promote awareness for the organization throughout its seven-county region. 

Radon has an extensive background in media and communications, having previously served as director of media content for the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and for several years as niche content editor for the Poughkeepsie Journal, where she oversaw a variety of publications, including the award-winning Living & Being wellness magazine and the My Valley environment section. 

“We’re thrilled to have Dugan join our staff,” said Elaine Sproat, president and CEO of the Hudson Valley chapter. “We’re sure she’ll be an asset keeping the community informed about Alzheimer’s disease and the many programs we offer to help families throughout our region
