CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Helping others comes naturally to Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski who is in his ninth year of collecting food and toys for those in need during the holidays.

Once again this year, Zebrowski's district office has been designated as a Toys for Tots drop-off location, in addition to being a drop-off location for the Haverstraw Meal Fund.

"This will be the ninth year that I am joining with the Marine Corps in support of their wonderful program. In addition, I will also be a drop-off location for the Haverstraw Meal Fund which donates toys to kids in Haverstraw. I encourage anyone that is able to donate any new, unwrapped toys; your generosity really makes the Holiday Season brighter for children in need," Zebrowski said.

The Assemblyman will also hold his annual holiday food drive to be donated to Rockland’s People to People. Items needed include all non-perishable food, especially, breakfast cereal, granola bars, 100% juice boxes, pasta and pasta sauce, tuna fish in water, canned or dry soup (low sodium if possible), and macaroni and cheese.Asss

Both toys and food can be dropped off Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Dec. 23, at the Assemblyman's main office at 67 N. Main St. in New City, on the second floor.
