ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three lanes on the Tappan Zee Bridge will experience closures due to construction during the night and morning hours of Friday, April 29, through Sunday, May 1.
One northbound lane will remain open during construction while all three southbound lanes will remain open as usual.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes because severe traffic delays are expected on northbound Interstate 87 and westbound I-287.
Construction work is scheduled from 9 p.m. April 29 to 2 p.m. April 30, and again from 9 p.m. April 30 until May 1 at 2 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed until Friday, May 6 at 9 p.m. until Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m.
