CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Clarkstown commuters and residents should be prepared Thursday and Friday for potential congestion and lane closures as road crews work to make emergency bridge repairs on the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
Work will take place on the southbound lanes near Exit 10 at North Middletown Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and on the northbound lanes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Drivers should expect stop-and-go traffic, various single-lane closures and delays. Construction officials are asking drivers to plan alternate routes if possible.
