ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Commuters and residents should expect detours and delays Wednesday morning as crews work to repair a utility pole that has closed part of Orchard Street in Nanuet, Clarkstown Police said.
The pole was hit by a delivery driver on Tuesday, causing intermittent power outages in the area. Power has been restored, but police are waiting for low hanging wires to be repaired.
The roadway is closed from Main Street to the train tracks, police said.
