ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Law enforcement agencies in Rockland are seeking the community’s assistance as they search for a missing teenager.
The New York State Department of Public Safety and Missing Persons Clearinghouse have issued an alert for 15-year-old Rafaela Miranda, who went missing in Nanuet in March. According to officials, she may still be in the Rockland County area and in the company of a Hispanic male adult.
Miranda speaks both English and Spanish and may be in need of medical attention. She has been described as 5-foot-2 weighing approximately 230 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding Miranda’s whereabouts can contact the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office by calling (845) 638-5400 or the Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 1-800-346-3543.
