NYSP Troop T requested Sgt. Chris Ford and his partner, Shadow, provide a drug sniff of a vehicle they'd stopped on I-87 by Exit 10.

Shadow alerted to a drug odor from inside the vehicle, and officers found a hidden compartment in the vehicle's floorboard.

The search netted over seven ounces of crack cocaine and 17 grams of marijuana, and the state police arrested the driver.
