NANUET, N.Y. -- A business that has sold flooring, rugs, and carpeting for decades in Nanuet has been kicked to the curb -- allegedly for not paying its rent, according to a report by lohud.

Ekizian’s on South Middletown Road was started in the early 1950s by Sam Ekizian but was owned by Orange County resident Frederick Landrigan at the time of its demise, the lohud story said.

After sheriff’s deputies came to evict the business Wednesday, Feb. 17, rolls of carpeting, padding, and other things from the store were piled up outside, lohud reported.
