Scattered power outages affecting more than 2,500 customers in the four counties were reported late Thursday night with most expected to have power back by the pre-dawn hours Friday.

Daily Voice captured a little of the show near the Peekskill waterfront.

Heat and humidity were expected to continue Friday, with highs in the mid 90s and a chance of thunderstorms, with Saturday's forecast looking much the same.
