Road Reopens After Crash, Fuel Spill In Rockland

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Old Middletown Road between Orangeburg Road and South Middletown Road in Pearl River was closed for about an hour late Monday morning following a car crash, according to the Orangetown Police Department.

The crash occurred around 10 a.m. and caused a diesel spill that was cleaned up by the Orangetown Police Department Office of Emergency Management, police said.

Also responding to the crash were the Pearl River Hook and Ladder and Excelsior Fire departments.

No serious injuries were reported. 

The road was closed for about an hour.
