POMONA, N.Y. -- Rockland BOCES has joined with the Rockland County Fire Training Center to offer BOCES students a brand-new curriculum focusing on fire science studies in connection with criminal justice, according to lohud.com.

The partnership arose after criminal justice teacher Marta Cortelli took her students on a class trip to the center, according to lohud.com.

Just about a month later, the Board of Cooperative Educational Services had approved the added program, according to lohhud.com
