Rockland Community College Screens 'Hudson Valley Honor Flight'

SUFFERN, N.Y. – A benefit screening of the documentary film “Hudson Valley Honor Flight: Generation Bridge” will be presented in Rockland Community College Cultural Arts Theater on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Hudson Valley Honor Flights provide air transport and other support for local Rockland and Orange County World War II veterans to visit the memorials in Washington, D.C. The documentary covers the relationship bridge built when local veterans discuss their experiences with local high school students.

The director, Joe Allen, will host a Q & A session after the film. All proceeds benefit programs for veterans at RCC.

General admission is $15; veterans, senior citizens and students with ID admission is $10; and there is no charge for World War II veterans and a guest.
