Rockland County Welcomes 54 U.S. Citizens In Naturalization Ceremony

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Rockland County Executive Ed Day particiapted in the festivities at yesterday's Naturalization Ceremony at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.

Fifty-four immigrants took the Oath of Allegiance and officially became United States citizens, in a ceremony led by Rockland County Clerk Paul Piperato.

Fifty-four immigrants from 24 countries took the Oath of Allegiance and officially became United States citizens, in a ceremony led by County Clerk Paul Piperato. 

The U.S. welcomes nearly 680,000 citizens during naturalization ceremonies across the country and around the world every year.
