ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- After a run of unseasonably warm conditions, Rockland County residents will have to deal with sharply colder temperatures over the weekend.

Showers will exit the region on Thursday night, making way for partly sunny skies and a high temperature of 47 on Friday with temperatures falling throughout the day.

Saturday will be sunny, but significantly cooler with a high of 38 degrees.

Wind-chill factors could be in the 20s.

Sunday will be more of the same with highs barely breaking 40.

A warming trend will begin on Monday and will continue throughout the week with highs approaching 60 by Christmas.
