This story has been updated.

The storm system passing through the area Friday morning has resulted in school delays and slick conditions on Rockland roadways.

An accident on southbound I-87 at Exit 14 (Route 59 in Spring Valley) was reported at 7:50 a.m.

A debris spill on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway southbound blocked the left lane at Exit 3 (Route 9W/Orbach Way, Alpine).

Motorists are advised to use caution on the Rockland/Orange County side of the Bear Mountain Bridge with plowing and salting ongoing in both directions.

There are speed restrictions on the Tappan Zee Bridge span that began at 4:40 a.m. and are continuing until further notice.
