Surveillance Footage Tip Leads To Rockland Larceny Suspect's Arrest

Less than 24 hours after releasing surveillance footage of a wanted male in the rear of a local business in the Village of Sloatsburg, Ramapo Police have located him.

Acting on a tip through social media, RPD officers responded and located the man and an investigation by the officers led to his arrest for the larceny.

The man also had outstanding warrants out of the Town of Warwick and the Village of Greenwood Lake, police said.

The man, whose name was not released by police, was processed at Ramapo Police.

Ramapo Police said the surveillance footage was provided by Hayward's Deli & Market.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Ramapo Police Department is attempting to identify a male in connection to a larceny investigation.

The incident occurred in the rear parking lot of 59 Orange Turnpike in the Village of Sloatsburg on Thursday.
