NANUET, N.Y. -- Lawrence Charles 'Hippy' Aubut, 74, of Nanuet, died Sept. 7.
He was born in Nyack.
He proudly served as a decorated soldier, in-country Vietnam, 1st Cav. Division. He retired from the Rockland County Highway Department and was a longtime member of the Nam Knights of America MC, Hudson Valley Chapter.
He is survived by his children, Tara, Jennifer, Scott and Kathleen.
Visiting will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at Assumma-Shankey Funeral Home, 34 N Summit St., Pearl River. There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. Thursday at The Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead.
