NANUET, N.Y. – Stewart G. Cane, a longtime resident of Nanuet, died Monday, Feb. 22. He was 60.
He was born July 6, 1955, in New York City, to Arthur W. and Irene Cane..
He was a coach for the Nanuet Little League for 25 years. He was an avid gardener, cook and sports fan and a big New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. He was a member of the Pearl River Elks.
He is survived by his sister, Madeline C. LaCortiglia and her husband, Chuck, of Summerville, S. C.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Beth Am Temple Cemetery, Blauvelt.
