All of the injuries sustained by dozens of people when two school buses from Northern Valley Regional High School in Demarest crashed on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland County on Monday afternoon were minor, authorities said.

Between 40 to 60 students and others were taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Suffern and Nyack Hospital, New York State Police said.

One of the buses rear-ended the other on the Exit 11 ramp around 2:30 p.m., they said.

The students were returning from a sophomore class day trip to Woodmont Day Camp in New City in Clarkstown.

An investigation of the crash is ongoing, state police said.
