Investigators from the New York State Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a wanted man who allegedly stole from his Orange County employer, leading to a warrant for his arrest.

State Police issued an alert on Wednesday regarding 37-year-old Christopher Lucca, who is wanted by the Orange County Court on charges that include second-degree burglary following an investigation into merchandise stolen from a Middletown retail location where he was employed as a store cleaner.

Police described Lucca as a 5-foot-5 white man with black hair and brown eyes, weighing an estimated 145 pounds. Anyone with information regarding Lucca’s whereabouts has been asked to contact State Police in Middletown by calling (845) 344-5300.
