The 49-year old Suffern man was arrested after police determined he was the person who carried an item on fire and put in in the dumpster, causing the rest of the trash to catch on fire.

A 61-year old New Hempstead man was also arrested on third-degree forgery charges Friday after an officer stopped him for speeding, and determined that he was driving with a forged inspection sticker in a vehicle whose inspection had expired over a year ago.
