FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. – The body of an 18-year-old college student from Franklin Lakes was found behind a Florida restaurant, according to multiple media reports.

Shayan Mortazavi was a freshman at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, who expressed an interest in film and multimedia journalism, according to the university.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and loved ones,” university spokesperson Jamie D’Aria said in a statement.

Workers found Mortazavi’s body behind Truluck’s restaurant in downtown Boca Raton around 6 a.m. Saturday, according to a Sun Sentinel report .

His injuries were consistent with a fall, but police have not released more details because there is an open investigation, the story says.
