Clarkstown Police Participate In National Prescription Take-Back Day

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Police Department recently collected more than four boxes of prescription drugs in four hours on National Prescription Take-Back Day on April 30.

Residents can drop off their prescription drugs at the police station for disposal every day of the year.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is an initiative to provide safe, responsible, convenient ways to dispose of prescription drugs, as well as educate on the potential for medication abuse.
