Keith Diaz-Albertini, 23, was charged with aggravated DWI after police responded to a single-car crash at the intersection of North Main Street and West Crooked Hill Road after he failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the rock wall, police said.

When officers arrived on scene they detected an odor of alcohol and said Diaz-Albertini had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. He later failed a breathalyzer test and several field sobriety tests, police said.

He was charged and released to a family member. He is due to appear in court on June 20.
