A Wyckoff police officer spotted the blue Nissan Sentra heading north on Route 208 with no rear license plate on May 21.

The driver “appeared to have difficulty maintaining a lane of travel and was drifting over the center dotted line” as the officer pulled up behind, Lt. Joseph Soto said.

As the officer pulled the car over, the syringe came flying out the window, he said.

Enrique Moreno III, 24 – who records show has a string of drug-related arrests in Bergen and Passaic counties the past five years -- was charged with possession of heroin, a syringe and drug paraphernalia, among other counts.

He also received a summons for throwing debris from a motor vehicle.

After discovering that Moreno had warrants from two other Bergen County towns – Fair Lawn and Franklin Lakes – police sent him to the Bergen County Jail.

He was released four days later pending further court action, records show.
