Gunshot Injury Under Investigation At Hudson Valley Supermarket Parking Lot

An unidentified person was located in a vehicle with a gunshot at the Acme Supermarket in Hopewell Junction on Sunday afternoon, East Fishkill Police said.

At about 2:35 p.m., East Fishkill officers responded to assist the state police for an incident in the parking lot in which a person with a gunshot injury was located in a vehicle with a non-life threatening injury, police said.

State Police are investigating the circumstances and East Fishkill Police said it cannot comment on the investigation, other than to assure residents that there is no threat to the public at this time.
