Hudson Valley Man Charged With Child Porn

A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after being charged with soliciting child porn from a child less than 17 years old, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.

Felipe M. Ramon, 30, of Pawling, was arrested on Tuesday following an investigation by the Sheriff's Office along with the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center, said Capt. John Watterson.

Ramon is accused of soliciting pornographic photos from and sending photos to, a child less than 17 years old via social media sites and a cell phone., Watterson said.

The victim is known to Ramon, and all further details about them and the case are being withheld to protect their privacy, he said.

Ramon was charged with nine counts each of felony use of a child in a sexual performance; possession of a sexual performance by a child; and promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, police said.

He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
