Nanuet Teens Caught Smoking Pot In Ramapo Children’s Park

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two Nanuet teens were nabbed for smoking pot in the Children's Park in the Village of Chestnut Ridge on Tuesday, according to Ramapo Police.

The teens were arrested after officers patrolling the park around 6:15 p.m., smelled burning marijuana and noticed several males sitting at a picnic table, police said.

After investigating, the officers found two of the males were in possession of marijuana. The teens, both 19 from Nanuet, were charged with possession, processed and released.

They will appear in court at a later date.
