New York Jets second-year linebacker Dylan Donahue slammed his sports car into a Paterson-bound jitney bus while driving the wrong way in the Lincoln Tunnel, sending four people to the hospital before dawn Monday, authorities said.
Donahue. 25, drove his Dodge Charger Hellcat around traffic cones to enter the center tube in Weehawken against New Jersey-bound traffic around 2 a.m., the Port Authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.
The car slammed into a jitney bus occupied by 15 passengers -- four of whom were taken with minor injuries to taken to Hoboken Medical University Center, he said.
The remaining passengers boarded a second jitney.
Donahue, meanwhile, was arrested -- as was a companion identified as Mahmood Suleiman, 21, who Pentangelo said was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Donahue failed a field and registered .15 on a breath test, he said.
A fifth-round draft pick for the Jets last year, Donahue played in four games for the Jets last season -- mostly in special teams -- before an elbow injury sidelined him.
