According to police, at 11:23 a.m. witnesses said 38-year-old Jose Capo was driving his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle on the southbound side of the bridge in an aggressive manner, weaving through traffic.

He lost control of his motorcycle, crashed into the back of a pickup truck, was ejected and then was struck by a 2012 Volvo tractor trailer, according to police.

Capo was pronounced dead at the scene by the Westchester County Medical Examiner, according to police. The driver of the tractor trailer, Hashani Haqif, 55, a Pennsylvania resident, was not injured and no charges are pending. Sygma Network Inc. of Dublin, OH, owns the tractor-trailer.

The center and right lanes between Exit 10 (9W) and the toll barrier were closed for several hours following the crash.
