A person was struck and killed by a Metro-North New Haven Line train near the Milford, Conn., station early Tuesday morning.

Metro-North said the incident occurred at around 1:50 a.m. Tuesday. A train that had departed Grand Central Terminal at 12:08 a.m. struck and killed a person who was trespassing on the tracks, a Metro-North spokesperson said.
