Pomona Man Charged In Stony Point Burglary

STONY POINT, N.Y. -- Police on Friday have arrested George P. Green, 46, of Pomona on charges of second-degree burglary, stolen property and grand larceny. Green is suspected in a residential burglary on Jan. 1.

Green was arrested with the assistance of the Town of Haverstraw Police and the Rockland County Intelligence Center after a brief foot pursuit.

The Stony Point Police were also assisted in the investigation by the Rockland County Sheriff’s B.C.I.Unit. The defendant was processed then arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court. He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail until his next court date on Jan. 12 at 1:30 p.m..
