ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Rockland County Department of Personnel is recruiting for the next police exam, currently scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19.

Prospective officers must meet the following criteria:

Be at least 18 years of age to take the test and at least 21 and younger than 35 to be hired.
Have two years of college (60 credits), two years' military experience or two years of post-high school work experience.
Be a Rockland resident at the time of the examination.
