PEARL RIVER, N. Y. -- A 26-year-old Pearl River man is facing felony strangulation and harassment charges after Orangetown police say he grabbed a woman by the hair, threw her to the ground then tried to choke her during an argument in Pearl River.
Wilson Aramboles was arrested Monday after a police investigation of the June 11 incident, police said. He's charged with second-degree felony strangulation and second-degree harassment, a violation, police said.
After arraignment in Orangetown, he was released on bail pending a July 25 appearance in Orangetown Justice Court, police said.
