Luis Guaman-Tacuri, 26, was charged with DWI, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level over .08 percent, and driving with a suspended registration after sheriff's deputies stopped him around 4 a.m. on Maple Ave., said Sgt. Albert Brunner.

While talking with Guaman-Tacuri, deputies could tell he was intoxicated, Brunner said.

He was processed at Sheriff's headquarters in New City and released on summonses.
